Keyboard input is more efficient, but many notes created this way simply lack the stickiness associated with traditional methods. Like a pen and paper, handwriting takes time, but you will have more time to process what you are doing. What we have seen and studied suggests that taking notes by hand is better than using a laptop.
There is no “right” way to write a note, but one of the early decisions you need to make is whether to handwrite or type a note.
